How it works

From a sentence to a DAW move

DAIW gives Claude more than 50 tools for working a DAW. Claude decides what to do, the DAIW app on your Mac carries it out, then reads the result back to check it.

Install the DAIW app

Install the DAIW app on the Mac that runs Logic Pro and sign in with your Google account. The app does the DAW work.

Connect it to Claude

Add DAIW under Connectors in your claude.ai settings and sign in with the same account.

Just say it

“A little more reverb on the chorus.” “Bring the whole song to −14 LUFS.” DAIW asks first before anything that is hard to undo.

Features

From composing to mastering,
in one conversation

No need to memorize where the buttons are. Describe the sound you want and DAIW turns it into Logic's own features.

Compose

Writes piano, bass, drum and melody parts in the style and progression you ask for, straight onto tracks, with swing, laid-back timing and humanizing for a played feel.

Arrange & edit

Cut, repeat or copy sections, add markers, change tempo mid-song, split regions, and quantize, swing or transpose by talking.

Mix

Volume, pan, mute and solo, sends and aux channels, plug-ins with their parameters and presets.

Automation

Records fades, build-ups and pans that sweep across the stereo field while the song plays, then reads the values back to check them.

Logic's AI features

Session Players (drums, bass, keys), Stem Splitter and Mastering Assistant in a sentence. Puts your progression on the chord track so the players follow it.

Sound & samples

Finds and swaps patches and instruments, searches Apple Loops by instrument, genre and mood, and imports audio files with fades.

Ears (measuring)

Measures loudness, true peak, band balance and stereo for the song or part by part, and compares them with a reference track or a streaming platform's target.

Export

Bounces the master to WAV, AIFF, MP3 or M4A and every track to its own stem, then puts Logic's bounce settings back.

Every Logic menu

Any command in Logic's menus, asked for in English or Korean, is found and run.

Privacy & Safety

Your audio
never leaves your Mac

Bouncing and measuring happen on your Mac, and only the measured numbers reach the server. The DAIW server relays commands; it never receives or stores audio.
