Terms of Service
Terms of Service
These terms set out the conditions for using DAIW (the “Service”) and the rights and responsibilities of users and the operator of the Service (the “Operator”). By signing up for or using the Service, you agree to these terms.
Please note. DAIW is a free beta, and its features and availability are not guaranteed. Back up important Logic projects yourself before using DAIW.
1. The Service
DAIW lets Claude (claude.ai) operate Logic Pro on your Mac in natural language. It consists of:
- A remote MCP server (
https://mcp.daiw.kr), which relays requests between Claude and the DAIW app and generates MIDI data for the compose feature. - The DAIW app, a menu bar app installed on your Mac that operates Logic Pro as requested.
- The website (
https://daiw.kr).
To use the Service you need a Mac with Logic Pro installed and a Claude account. Logic Pro and Claude are the products and services of their respective companies, and those companies set their terms of use.
2. Pricing, payment and refunds
- The Service has a free plan and a paid subscription, Pro (US$12 per month or US$99 per year). The features of each plan are described on the Pricing page.
- During the beta we charge nothing, and Pro features are also free. We will announce on the website and in these terms before billing starts.
- Payments are processed by Paddle.com as the Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payment, tax and receipts, and your purchase is also subject to the Paddle Buyer Terms. The Operator never receives your card details.
- A Pro subscription renews automatically for the same period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the link in the payment emails Paddle sends. After you cancel you are not charged again, and you can use Pro until the end of the period you already paid for.
- If you ask within 14 days of a payment (including a renewal payment), that payment is refunded in full. Use the link in the payment email or write to midnight-mochi@naver.com.
- We will give 30 days' notice before raising prices, and a new price applies from the renewal after that.
- Because the Service is in beta, we do not guarantee its features, the accuracy of its results, or its availability (uninterrupted use).
- Features may be added, changed or removed without notice.
- To the extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for damage arising from use of the free beta service unless caused by the Operator's intent or gross negligence.
3. Accounts
- You sign up with an email address and password, or with a Google account. You must be at least 14 years old to sign up.
- You are responsible for keeping your password and the devices signed in to your account (the DAIW app, the Claude connection) secure.
- Do not lend or transfer your account to anyone else.
- If you think your account has been compromised, tell us right away at midnight-mochi@naver.com.
4. Your DAW projects
- DAIW operates Logic Pro on your Mac as you instruct Claude. Claude interprets and carries out your instructions, so results may differ from what you intended.
- Actions that are hard to undo, such as recording or deleting, are designed to run only after you confirm them. Even so, not every error can be prevented.
- You are responsible for backing up important projects. We recommend making a copy of a project before using DAIW on it.
- The Operator is not liable for project damage or data loss during use of the Service unless caused by the Operator's intent or gross negligence.
5. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- use another person's account, or sign up with another person's information;
- disrupt the operation of the Service, for example by sending excessive requests;
- reverse engineer or tamper with the DAIW app or server to attack the server or to access other users' information or connections;
- use the Service for any purpose that breaks the law.
The Operator may restrict the use of, or close the account of, a user who breaks these rules.
6. Rights to what you make
- You own what you make with DAIW (such as MIDI generated by the compose feature) and your projects. The Operator claims no rights to them.
- Your use of Claude is governed by Anthropic's terms.
- The Operator owns the Service itself (the DAIW app, the server and the website).
7. Trademarks
Logic Pro is a trademark of Apple Inc., and Claude is a trademark of Anthropic. DAIW is not affiliated with Apple Inc. or Anthropic.
8. Suspension and leaving
- The Operator may suspend all or part of the Service during the beta. Where possible, we will announce it on the website in advance.
- You may leave at any time: choose Delete Account (계정 삭제…) in the DAIW app's menu, or email midnight-mochi@naver.com from, or quoting, the email address you signed up with.
- While subscribed to Pro, cancel the subscription before leaving in the app. If you ask to leave by email, the Operator also cancels the subscription.
- When you leave, your personal information is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. You can delete the DAIW app and its logs from your Mac yourself.
9. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will post the effective date and the changes on this page in advance. If you do not agree to the new terms, you may stop using the Service and leave.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes about use of the Service are resolved by the competent court under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
